"I have been seeing Kristin for chemical peels to treat my adult acne since February 2011. I started breaking out 8 years ago (I was 21), and did not see any results with over the counter nor prescription products. I almost opted for Accutane, though I wasn't happy with my dermatologist at the time. I was searching online for a new doctor, when I stumbled upon the Avie! Website. From the first phone call, I was treated with the utmost respect. Liz told me to come in for a free consultation. Kristin and Kim looked at my skin and recommended a series of 6 Jessner Peels. After consulting with you, I decided to try your recommendation for a series of chemical peels and photo facials to improve my acne. I have had 4 treatments out of 6 and am thrilled with the results. I was always so self conscience of my spider veins which worsened after 2 pregnancies. I hated wearing swim suits and shorts in the summer months since it looked like my legs were always bruised with all the veins. I finally decided I had to do something about it. I decided to try schlerotherapy with Kim. The results were amazing. After the first 1-2 sessions, I saw a huge improvement and within a few months, my the spider veins that had bothered me for years were GONE! My motivation for trying Zerona was my thigh and saddlebag area, and interest in improving skin texture in that area. With Zerona, I saw results not just in these areas, but also my hips, stomach and arms! It is kind of amazing that even though the "cold-laser" is targeted on specific body areas, you lose inches all over the place! I actually lost the most inches across my stomach and abdomen, which was a bonus. The treatment itself is so easy and completely painless - it couldn't be easier from that perspective. To see the best results from Zerona, you do need to commit yourself to following the protocol, which may require you to eat better, drink more water, etc. than you are used to - but the protocol is not outrageous by any means, and you know you should be drinking 8 glasses of water of day if you aren't already!

I have made several attempts at beginning this Testimonial and I find myself overwhelmed with "GRATITUDE" to Dr. Vasquez and Kim for helping change my life. I had a problem with my thighs my entire life. Even as a child I was overweight and not very pretty (the Ugly Duckling). My legs always made me sad to look at even as a child. Just wanted to write a quick word about the wonderful care I received at Avie! MedSpa. Over the years I have visited a number of dermatologists offices and day spas in the area but none can compare to Avie! Everything, from the warm and inviting atmosphere to the genuinely caring staff, made me feel at home from the moment I walked through the door. I think what makes Avie! so different and so wonderful is that I was able to enjoy the comfort of a day spa while receiving care and advice from a very knowledgeable medical staff; when my Zerona treatments were nearing an end I felt a little sad that I wouldn’t regularly be seeing their smiling faces. Many thanks to Danielle for help with scheduling craziness and to Shea for great nutritional tips and to Kristen for encouragement during Zerona (I think the inches I lost definitely gave me the jump start I needed) Also, thanks for the Fotofacial! I can’t believe one treatment got rid of all that facial ruddiness and…I love, love, love the Image Skincare products. I haven’t had to use Retin A once since I started using them. I have been so pleased with the results from the pro-lipo procedure I had done at Avie a few months ago. I always felt as if I had "muffin tops" on my sides and a little role in my stomach. After having the pro-lipo procedure on my stomach and hips, my "muffin tops" have completely disappeared and my stomach is finally flat again!! The procedure was painless, quick and I was back to my schedule the following day. Not only did the fat cells disappear, but with this procedure your skin tightens around the areas where the fat was removed. This proceudre is perfect for those individuals who don't have the time to recover from traditional lipo, the costs are less, there is no sedation required and your skin tightens, a great benefit that does not occur with traditional lipo.

I would recommend pro-lipo at Avie to anyone who has areas of excess fat that they wish to have removed quickly, safely with very little down-time.

This is the place to go....get out of your day spa and get some true and honest skin care. Adan gave me an amazing facial and I followed it up with a treatment from Kim (the owner) and both are amazingly friendly and compassionate about their clients. Adan even went above and beyond skincare, assessing the root cause of some of my issues from a whole-health perspective, meaning I could possibly be missing something from my diet. Well, he couldn't have been more correct. After 10 days of a new supplement, my skin couldn't be clearer (and no, he didn't push it or try the hard sell.... simply gave me the recommendation and I did the legwork, purchasing from a local health food store). All of Avie's staff truly care about their clients as people and it shows....do yourself (and your skin) a favor and schedule a consultation.

I went here before my wedding and would definitely recommend this place. Looks great inside and has professional and intelligent staff. I was very pleased with my treatment and Aden is great at explaining everything. He also offered me advice regarding diet and skincare and I was thrilled to see improvement once I did what he said and used what he recommended. He wasn't pushy at all and was just genuine in wanting to help and offer the best advice. I didn't get to meet the owner Kim, but Susan was also great at describing the different services and products. This place goes out of their way to make sure you're a happy client.
